Short version: the free record and the check do not collect your answers, and there is no account. The paid route uses Stripe, and the watch uses the email you give Stripe.

What this site collects

Nothing on the free record or the free check. The check runs in your browser from a static JSON file. No answer is sent to a server, stored in a cookie or added to a list. The site does not set an advertising cookie and does not use a third party analytics script. The hosting provider keeps standard request logs, including an IP address, for security and delivery.

When you buy

The checkout is hosted by Stripe. Stripe collects the payment details, the billing address and the email you give it. This site does not see or store a card number. The return page checks the Stripe session so it can serve the files; it does not create an account. The email address is held by Stripe, and the watch uses it to send the change email.

When you start the watch

The subscription is a Stripe subscription. The email you give Stripe is used to send the change email and nothing else. There is no newsletter and no marketing. You can cancel from the receipt or by emailing support, and the address is then removed from the watch list.

Email

If you email support, the message and the address are kept only as long as needed to answer and to keep a record of the correction. They are not sold and not added to a marketing list.

Your rights

Ask support for a copy of what is held about you, or ask for it to be deleted. If the request concerns a payment, Stripe's own process applies and support will point you at it. The contact is support@theartofservice.com.

Where the data lives

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Payments and subscriptions are held by Stripe. The record itself is a static file with no personal data. Support email is held in the mailbox of The Art of Service. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to tell a person from a bot; it is not used for advertising or analytics.
